So I am starting a blog. This is gonna be a new adventure for both of us and I can't wait. Let's get to know each other before we dive right in.
Hi there. I’m so glad you decided to check out my new blog. I won’t lie, I am nervous. Nervous about how this is going to go, nervous about sharing my personal story with you guys, and nervous for what this experience might teach me. But I am also overjoyed and excited by this opportunity. I know that so many good things can come from this and I am so ready to start this new journey with you. Before we get into the nitty gritty of what this blog is going to be about, let me share with you how this blog came to fruition.
Since a young age, I have always had a passion for writing. It was my favorite subject in school and I loved creating stories to go along with characters I had dreamed up in my head. There was something so magical about creating a world outside of the one we live in. I loved how there were no boundaries in where I could go while writing as long as I had a pencil and paper. Writing was my escape.
Fast forward to now-a college sophomore whose main hobbies include drinking coffee, taking naps, and pretending homework doesn’t exist-I have fallen in love with writing all over again. And before I go any further, let me just say... college changes a person. But we will get to that story soon enough. Back to these past few weeks, I have felt a tug at my heart to share my story with more people. I feel like God has been calling me to use my own experiences to help others. And with my recent rediscovery for writing I figured this would be a great way to do just that.
So here I am sharing my story with you.

Now, a few things you should know about me before continuing:
- I am strong in my faith and believe that Jesus Christ died on the cross to save me from my sins. Jesus is a HUGE part of my story and will play a MAJOR part in my posts.
- Relationships are of the utmost importance to me.
- I like chocolate ice cream, painting, the outdoors, long drives with music up loud, and puppies.
- I am an interior design major at George Fox University so many of my posts will include some tips and tricks when it comes to designing.
